After 15 Days of Constant War, Palestine Gets Aid
Nearly 6.5 tonnes of medical aid and 32 tonnes of disaster relief material has been sent to Palestine via El-Arish airport in Egypt by an Indian Air Force Craft – 17 (IAFC-17) by India.
The aid is being sent via the Egyptian side of border, Rafah border, towards the Gaza strip. More than eight planes landed at El-Arish International Airport, Egypt, carrying aid from several countries including Turkey, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Tunisia, India and Rwanda.
INDIA, which at first condemned Hamas for starting a war, has now taken its long standing initiative for supporting Palestine. Talking to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Narendra Modi conveyed his condolences for the lives lost at the Al-Ahli hospital and all others.
HISTORY :
- Israel and Palestine have a long history of disturbances ever since Israel’s establishment in 1948 by the United Nation Organisation.
- The two countries have been in a constant conflict state since a long time and in addition to that, full scale wars between Israel and various Arab nations, i.e. 1948, 1956, 1973 etc.
- The war is for existence and land since the start, for both Israelis and Palestinians.
- The land is pious for both the countries and its religion, which forms the basis for the conflict.
