Canada visa services resumed

Canada visa services resumed But not travel Delhi and Ottawa restores some visa services for Canada,a month after the services were suspended.

The high commission of India in Ottawa mentioned in his statement that there has been a review of the security situation in Canada and it has been decided to resume visa services for some categories, that would be – entry, business, medical and conference visas.

The tourist visa is still not restored as the services are opened partially but has not been normalised.

The services were called of when the Canadian prime minister has alleged India of a potential link in the killing of Canada based Khalistan separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar. After Justin Trudeau’s firestorm allegation, Delhi asked Ottawa to reduce its diplomatic presence in India. This incident resulted in a pull back in India Canada diplomatic ties and the visa services were called off.
